Ronald Acuna Jr. is finally off the injured list.
After a torn ACL cost him a good portion of the 2021 season and the start of the 2022 season, the Atlanta Braves have welcomed back their superstar.
Acuna’s rehab stint was brief, but it seems to have gone pretty well.
The Braves seemed to think he was ready.
Acuna’s stats also show that he was ready.
Though it was only six games, Acuna went 7-for-19 with a double, three stolen bases, six walks, and six strikeouts while hitting .368 and posting an OPS of .941.
Acuna wasted no time getting back into his groove.
In six rehab games at Triple-A Gwinnett, Acuña was 7-for-19 (.368) with a double, .520 OBP .421 slugging percentage, .941 OPS, three stolen bases (in three attempts), six walks, six strikeouts.

Acuna Ready To Go
There’s no doubt Acuna was just itching to get back on the baseball field and help the Braves take another shot at winning it all.
Acuna was obviously not active during the Braves’ championship run, but he’s back and ready to do some damage with his squad and help return them to the Fall Classic.
The 24-year-old superstar hit .283 with 24 home runs and 52 RBIs in 297 at-bats in 2021 before injury claimed him and abruptly ended his season.
Six games isn’t that long of a rehab stint, but clearly it was enough to prove the Braves that he was ready to get going again, especially given his stats at Triple-A Gwinnett.
He’s ready to go and wants to show the baseball world that he is still more than capable of taking home an NL MVP Award.
Add him to a lineup that already consists of Marcell Ozuna, Matt Olson, Ozzie Albies, and Austin Riley and you’ve got a dangerous team that is hungry for more after their surprise run to the title last October.
