The New York Jets have been aggressive in improving their roster this offseason.
Everything started for the Jets when they acquired quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers brings Super Bowl-caliber expectations to New York but he is not the only new face in town.
The Jets also signed Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook this offseason.
He was given a one-year deal and is expected to be their lead back in Week 1.
Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh thought the Jets had no chance to sign Cook after meeting with him.
According to Al Iannazzone, Saleh presented Cook with the “worst-case scenario” about his role when meeting with him.
But that did not deter Cook who seems set to do whatever it takes to win.

Saleh never thought he would sign with the Jets after that. When he did, Saleh knew Cook was all in on winning and doing whatever it takes to help the #Jets

Cook may be the lead back to begin the year but that may not last long.
The Jets have second-year running back Breece Hall returning from a torn ACL he suffered last year.
He is the more explosive player and the future of the Jets backfield.
But New York does not want to rush him onto the field which is why Cook can take over the starting role until Hall is ready for a full workload.
The Jets will be one of the most-watched teams in the NFL.
Everyone will want to see what Rodgers looks like in his first NFL season outside of Green Bay.
It has been a while since we have seen them in the playoffs (2010).
Getting into the postseason is the bare minimum for expectations this season.
