Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ recent meeting with the Jets reportedly went quite well, and the team’s front office believes they’re pretty close to landing their guy.
The Jets failed to make the playoffs with a combination of Mike White, Joe Flacco, and Zach Wilson in their QB room last season, and they made it a point of emphasis to solve those woes once and for all this time around.
Still, they have more than enough talent on both sides of the field to be a legit contender if they find a solid player at the QB position, and not many players would be better than Aaron Rodgers in that regard.
That’s why former NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski believes that Rodgers will choose the Jets as his next destination, predicting that they could find plenty of success with him under center.
“I think that he’s gonna end up as a New York Jet,” Gronk said on Up & Adams. “I feel like the Jets organization — they’re ready to win, and they’re ready to win now. And with what better player than the best quarterback in the NFL right now? Or at least a top 3 quarterback in the NFL and go get Aaron Rodgers?”

It’s been quite a while since we last saw Aaron Rodgers make it to the Super Bowl, and don’t even get me started on the Jets.
This could be a match made in heaven and just what Rodgers needs to bring his reputation back up after taking some big hits over the past couple of seasons, and he might as well be just the guy they need to go back to their glory days.
Eventually, it’ll all come down to whether Rodgers wants to play there or not, but it all points out to him arriving in the Big Apple quite soon.
