How much longer will Joel Embiid be with the Philadelphia 76ers?
People have been wondering about that a lot lately.
If the reigning MVP decides to depart from the only team he’s ever played for, where will he go?
Richard Jefferson, who knows a thing or two about playing in the NBA, believes that Embiid will eventually make his way to the New York Knicks.
On the Road Trippin’ Show, Jefferson said that no player wants to be the “savior” of a team, which made the Knicks unattractive to many superstars for years.
But now that they have a strong core, led by Jalen Brunson, Embiid could be intrigued by the proposition of playing in New York.

Embiid and the Knicks have been linked multiple times over the last few weeks.
It all started when the Sixers suffered another rough loss in the postseason and people questioned how much more Embiid would accept.
He then made an off-handed public comment that suggested he could maybe play for another team at some point.
Following that, rumors of the Knicks keeping tabs on Embiid swirled.
Apparently, New York will be first in line to try and land Embiid if he says that his time in Philadelphia is over.
Jefferson is absolutely right when he says that the Knicks are far more attractive now.
They have naturally built something special with their roster.
They also have a fair amount of money to spend on some impressive All-Star contracts.
Will all of that be enough to land Embiid?
And more importantly, how long are they willing to wait for him?
