For decades, NBA fans have gone back and forth debating who’s the greatest player of all time.
There are as many criteria and opinions as people on Earth, but most agree that the debate should at least include Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
However, if you were to ask James’ agent and lifelong friend Rich Paul, it’ll all depend on who’s speaking and how old that person is.
Per Paul, the older folks will never give LeBron the credit he deserves, even though he’s been to the NBA Finals for half of the years he’s been in the league.
Paul explained that people who only consider rings as a factor should then say Bill Russell is the GOAT, pretty much stating that we’ll never know for sure.
“You see these guys on TV every day speaking about rings… Well if it’s about the rings then it’s Bill Russell”
“LeBron been in the finals for half of his career”

He also praised LeBron for being the first superstar in the social media era with a 24/7 sports news cycle and the fact that he’s been able to withstand all that pressure.
Truth be told, one could make an argument for so many players being the greatest of all time, even Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, or Tim Duncan.
James has climbed the ladder and owns most NBA records, but some still may say he’ll never be as dominant as Michael Jordan, and they could be right.
But the truth is that no one has it all.
Some have more rings; some have better scoring numbers, and some have fewer losses in the Finals.
At the end of the day, we only have opinions, and we’ll never reach a consensus.
