The 2021 season has not gone as planned for the Denver Broncos.
The team is reeling after losing 4 consecutive losses.
Von Miller knows that there is plenty of time to turn the season around, but there needs to be a sense of urgency.
“We’ve lost four games in a row after winning three. We can’t lose too many more if we want to be the team that we set out to be at the beginning of the year, if we want to go out here and win games later on in the postseason.” said Miller.
However, this has not stopped GM George Paton from thinking about the future.
According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Broncos are willing to trade DB Kareem Jackson for the right price at the deadline.

“GM George Paton will always answer the phone, and he has a few veteran DBs who have drawn interest. Last week it was Kyle Fuller. This week, Jackson. It would take a strong offer to pry him from Denver, but Jackson is not off limits.”
Jackson was the 10th overall pick in the 2010 draft and is in his 12th season in the NFL.
After playing his first 9 seasons in Houston, Jackson signed with Denver in 2019.
Jackson was named a Pro Bowl alternate in 2019 and played nearly every snap for the Broncos in 2020.
He has been dealing with a back injury in 2021.
If traded, the Broncos would play S Caden Sterns who has quickly gained the trust of the coaching staff opposite of Justin Simmons.
