The Boston Red Sox have played their best baseball of the year lately, as the team has won five straight games and is finally showing some signs of life in the 2022 MLB season.
However, virtually all eyes in Boston are on a different team right now: the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics are in the midst of a special playoff run, and they’re hoping it will end with an NBA championship.
The Red Sox want the world to know that they’re completely behind the Celtics this season.

The Red Sox would clearly love to see the Celtics get the job done and win it all.
Sharing The Love
It’s definitely great to see the Red Sox support the Celtics during such an exciting time for the basketball organization.
Celtics stud Marcus Smart certainly seems to appreciate the love.
After Red Sox player Franchy Cordero was photographed sporting a Smart jersey, the Celtics guard made sure to return the positive energy.
Have yourself a day @Franchycordero ! Watched that walkoff grand slam today live. @RedSox SWEEP. Thanks for the love! https://t.co/ORfWJpX1jL

As Smart mentioned, Cordero had an epic moment for the Red Sox on Sunday, smacking a walk-off grand slam to beat the Seattle Mariners.

The Red Sox are creeping back into the playoff picture and finally have some momentum.
That’s something the Celtics will look to gain in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat on Monday.
Celtics Looking To Bounce Back
The Celtics didn’t do themselves any favors in Game 3 of their series against the Heat.
With the series tied 1-1, the Celtics came out flat in the first half of Game 3.
Although Boston made things very interesting in the second half, Miami was able to survive and earn a 109-103 win.
With the victory, the Heat took a 2-1 lead in the series and also stole back home-court advantage.
Bam Adebayo’s performance was a major key for Miami.
After averaging just 8.2 shot attempts per contest during the Heat’s first 13 playoff games, he finally took it upon himself to be aggressive in Game 3 against Boston, and it paid off.
Adebayo went 15-for-22 from the field for 31 points, and he added 10 rebounds and six assists along the way.
Erik Spoelstra on Bam Adebayo’s Game 3 performance:
“I was barely able take him out of the game because of his impact on both sides of the ball.”
Says they game planned to put Bam in good spots, but said 90% of it was just Bam’s being assertive to make right plays.

A similar performance from the big man would likely do wonders for Miami in Game 4, but Boston will surely do everything in its power to prevent that from happening.
For the Celtics, a lot will likely be made of how Jayson Tatum plays in Game 4.
The young superstar had a brutal showing in Game 3, as he scored just 10 points on inefficient shooting.
Without a doubt, Boston would love to see Tatum use his poor Game 3 as motivation for a monster Game 4.
If the Celtics even things up on Monday, the Eastern Conference Finals will essentially become a three-game series with home-court advantage favoring Miami.
The winner of the series will likely face the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 NBA Finals, which is sure to be a tall task.
But thanks to the support of the Red Sox and the entire city of Boston, the Celtics likely feel that there’s nothing they can’t do.
