
Today is the day.
Spring training games will finally get underway, meaning baseball is officially back.
There are three games on the schedule for today.
The Boston Red Sox will be playing host to the Northeastern University Huskies at their spring training complex in Fort Myers, Florida.
That will be the first game of the day, and it will get underway at 1:05 p.m. Eastern Time.
Excitement can be felt all around the game as we move closer to the start of a new season.
On Twitter, the Red Sox celebrated the return of spring training baseball and posted a graphic featuring today’s lineup.

In today’s lineup for the Red Sox are a few familiar names.
Jarren Duran will be leading off and starting in center field, while Rafael Devers and Enrique Hernandez will follow.
Devers will be at third base and Hernandez will be at the shortstop position.
The heart of the lineup will feature the newly-signed Masataka Yoshida, Alex Verdugo, and Jorge Alfaro.
Yoshida and Verdugo will be playing left field and right field, respectively, while Alfaro serves as the designated hitter.
Top prospect Triston Casas will bat seventh and play first base.
Emmanuel Valdez and Stephen Scott will fill out the final two spots.
Valdez will be at second and Scott will be behind the plate.
On the mound will be pitching prospect Oddainer Mosqueda.
The time has come.
Baseball is back.
It may not be Opening Day just yet, but the start of spring training games means that we’re getting close.
