Every single NFL season, it seems the Green Bay Packers are favorites to make the Super Bowl.
They have Aaron Rodgers, a four-time MVP and current reigning MVP.
Their offense usually does well because of him.
However, fans seem to forget how Green Bay really doesn’t have any chance of making the Super Bowl.
But Packers fans will ignore the sound reasons their team can’t win the Super Bowl.
For those that pay attention, they will find three reasons Green Bay can’t win the Super Bowl.
3. Green Bay Cut Star Players To Get Under Salary Cap
You can’t win a Super Bowl, or even make it there, if your team is gutting some of its best talent.
Green Bay gutted their roster to get under the salary cap for 2022.
Billy Turner and Lucas Patrick, two offensive linemen essential in protecting Rodgers, were released.
They also cut linebacker Za’Darius Smith, a top-tier player who was captain of their defense.

While the Packers addressed the loss of Smith during the NFL Draft, the player they got isn’t as good as him.
When you look at his play during his time with Green Bay, he performed better than players like Khalil Mack.
Replacing him with a rookie player won’t cut it against elite teams in the NFL playoffs or in the Super Bowl.
This puts a hamper on any fantasy of a Super Bowl this NFL season for Green Bay.
2. Rodgers’ Best Receiver Left For Las Vegas
Drama in Green Bay led their top receiver, Davante Adams, on a trip to Sin City to reunite with his college teammate.
The team now has rookie receivers along with mostly unproven players at receiver.
I’m not sure losing adams and drafting a second round pick really addressed anything. Besides Chicago, Green Bay has the worst wr core in the division

However, they have Sammy Watkins and Randall Cobb.
But both players haven’t had over one 1,000-yard receiving year in their career.
That won’t cut it with Rodgers attempting to make the Super Bowl for a second time in his career.
It also hurts him and the Packers offense losing Adams because he accounted for around 1/3 of every passing statistic Rodgers had in 2021.
Without a proven playmaker like Adams in Green Bay, their offense will struggle and not even make it to the Super Bowl.
1. Rodgers Can’t Win Big-Time Playoff Games
Time after time, Rodgers proves to Packers fans that he’s not able to win those crucial playoff games.
During the 2020 NFC Championship Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Rodgers passed on two plays when he could have walked into the end zone.
While he easily strolls into the end zone against NFC North defenses that aren’t good, he was too scared to do it against the Bucs defense.
It would have gotten them into Super Bowl 55.
The next season, in the NFC Divisional round, the MVP quarterback scored zero touchdowns as his team lost 13-10 against the 49ers.
In the end, Rodgers and the Packers will not win a Super Bowl or even make it there this season.
