There are a lot of details not known about the accident, but most importantly, Murray is okay and the friends traveling with him will also be okay.

What We Know

Murray and friends were traveling sometime around the July 4th holiday.

Their vehicle was hit by a drunk driver.

One of the passengers in Murray’s vehicle sustained injuries.

According to Page 6, Murray wrote this on his Instagram:

“Sorry if I’ve been MIA for a couple days to those asking, figured this was easier to write here – my friends and I were hit by a drunk driver on the lake a couple days ago after the fireworks. One of my buds got hurt bad but thankfully will recover after many surgeries. Others were shaken up obviously. I’m fine physically for most part.”

We don’t know who was driving or where the accident occurred.

It is also unclear if the accident happened “on the lake” so it potentially could have been either a car or boat accident.

Murray resides in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia.

This post is not visible on his Instagram account.

Murray Has Been Out Of The Limelight

Murray has taken a break after being in several reality television series.

Between 2014 and 2017, he appeared in four reality shows on three different networks.

In 2019, he talked to E! about his Bachelor experiences.

Murray said:

“Just all the negativity afterwards, and all the lies, and all the dishonesty, and all the hyperbole and the statements that were out there. It was just very tough dealing with that. I’m a people pleaser, so I enjoy people in general and what happened was very tough on me having to deal with people believing certain things that weren’t true. And I guess I have got to take responsibility because I also put myself in those situations.”

His Dating Show Resume

Murray became a household name after becoming engaged to The Bachelorette Andi Dorfman in 2014.

The pair broke the engagement in January 2015.

Murray appeared on Bachelor in Paradise in 2016 and subsequently got engaged to Amanda Stanton.

By January 2017, the couple had broken up.

Murray also tried his luck on E!’s Famously Single and MTV’s The Challenge, an athletic competition, which he said was his most fun reality show appearance.

He said what he liked about The Challenge was:

“Just being physical and having the camaraderie instead of a bunch of guys hating me because I’m with a girl that they like.”

His Current Job

Health and fitness are what Murray focuses on these days.

His LinkedIn profile indicates that he has owned an F45 Training franchise in Buckhead, Georgia since January 2018.

He is also an AdvoCare (nutritional supplements) products advisor.
