Things didn’t go the Baltimore Ravens‘ way last season.
They had an 8-3 record at one point but lost their remaining six games to bow out of the playoffs.
It didn’t help that injuries on their key players, especially quarterback Lamar Jackson, started to pile up.
But it’s a new year, and they have most of their starters back.
It’s also good news that J.K. Dobbins may be able to play at any point this year after a season-ending injury in 2021.
However, outside linebacker Justin Houston is confident about their chances in 2022.

ESPN’s Jamison Hensley tweeted, “Ravens OLB Justin Houston on his chances to win the Super Bowl this year: ‘We’re going to get that ring. I’m going to speak that into existence.’ Houston said this team represents his best chance to get a Super Bowl ring.”
While it’s easy to admire Houston’s confidence, winning Super Bowl LVII will be easier said than done because of the teams that might enter the playoffs.
Of course, the Ravens must clinch a postseason berth first and prove that their offense will work without a top-notch wide receiver.
They have a solid defense with Houston, Calais Campbell, Odafe Oweh, Marcus Peters, and Marlon Humphrey.
But stopping their opponents from scoring is just half of the equation.
Tough Schedule For The Ravens
Going through their division alone will be difficult because they must defeat the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cincinnati Bengals.
The Ravens will also face the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills, and the Miami Dolphins.
Also on their schedule are the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
While Houston’s prediction of winning the Super Bowl isn’t impossible, achieving that goal will be difficult.
