For the last few months, there have been many people wondering what’s ahead for Fred VanVleet of the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors haven’t been living up to expectations this year and are currently the 11th team in the East with a 21-27 record.
VanVleet has been with Toronto since his rookie year and is currently averaging 19.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists.
Rumors say the team might look to change things up in the future – and VanVleet might too.

So, will he be moving on when free agency begins in the summer?
It is being reported that VanVleet has “parted ways” with his agents, Par-Lay Sports & Entertainment.
“Parting ways” is just a polite way of saying that his agents got fired, meaning that VanVleet obviously wants a new group working for him before free agency starts.
That would indicate that VanVleet might be very busy during the offseason and want capable agents able to hold all of the offers that come his way.
There may be another reason for this move but most people agree that VanVleet will be seriously weighing his options in free agency.
This isn’t surprising as he is still one of the most beloved guards in the league.
Ever since joining the NBA, VanVleet has been known for his drive and fearsome determination on the floor.
The 6-foot-1 guard plays like a man who is much bigger and much stronger.
He was one of the reasons why his team was able to win the Finals back in 2019.
Since the departure of Kawhi Leonard, VanVleet has become the face of the Raptors but their current rough patch might set him up for a big goodbye to the only team he’s ever known.
