The first month of NFL action gave fans plenty of exciting games to watch.
With that first month of NFL action over, there are teams making statements in the standings early.
These teams are showing why they are the best, as they set atop the standing in the NFL.
While some teams are shockingly on top of the NFL standings, other teams are familiar faces to fans.
So after four weeks of NFL action, who are the top three teams in the NFL right now?
3. Minnesota Vikings
Everything is going the way of the Minnesota Vikings this season.
Their strong start to the season against the Green Bay Packers got them ahead early in the NFC North standings.
The Vikings defeat the Packers 23-7 in Game 1 of the Kevin O’Connell era.
It wasn’t always pretty, but it showed the potential of what this team could be.
The Vikings take on the Eagles (1-0) next week in Philadelphia.

Since then, they haven’t given up that position in an already heated NFC North.
Their victory in London against the New Orleans Saints shows how they made the right choices at the right time.
Taking field goals, instead of trying to get a first down on fourth down, helped the team get enough points to win the game.
However, the play by Justin Jefferson against the Packers and Saints helped the Vikings win those games.
They are showing solid play on offense with Jefferson and QB Kirk Cousins, as well as with their defense.
It’s why the team is 3-1 to start the season, despite many believing the Packers would own the NFC North this season.
2. Kansas City Chiefs
While the Kansas City Chiefs had one poor game against the Indianapolis Colts, they bounced back in convincing fashion.
Their defeat of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night came with Patrick Mahomes having a solid game.
Bucs finally get 3rd and 10 and this is an incredible play by Mahomes. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap. Could have been off the field here. pic.twitter.com/mun0m5qYzn

Mahomes finished the game 23 for 37, passing for 249 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.
Even though Mahomes made that one mistake, he made more excellent plays than bad ones, making up for his one mistake.
Now, the Chiefs are 3-1, sitting atop the AFC West as the sole leader of their division.
They are also the second highest scoring team in the NFL, something that’s helping them win games.
While the Chiefs are playing without Tyreek Hill this season, Mahomes is showing he’s still able to work with his current slate of receivers.
Those receivers, led by tight end Travis Kelce, are helping Mahomes and the Chiefs this season.
1. Philadelphia Eagles
There’s only one NFL team that remains undefeated, and that’s the Philadelphia Eagles.
Their 4-0 start to the 2022 NFL season is nothing short of shocking.
Ever since they made a trade for receiver A. J. Brown, the team’s been looking great.
The connection between him and his QB, Jalen Hurts, has given the team a reliable receiver for the long term.
Oh 1000 percent!! I felt so optimistic about the A.J. Brown trade and I’m feeling even better now. The connection between Brown and Hurts is fantastic. Plus Smith is even better and our defense is pretty ridiculous. 😁

While he hasn’t gotten many catches since week one, he’s made the most of those receptions.
He’s averaging 16.2 yards per reception, his highest since his rookie season with the Tennessee Titans.
Hurts is also showing flashes of success, as he has 1,120 passing yards and four touchdowns this season.
Both him and Brown are the new heart and soul of the Eagles’ offense, leading them to a 4-0 start in 2022.
