The MLB free agency period has seen plenty of money spent on top players.
All of these deals have gone down so quickly that only a few star players remain.
It will be interesting to see which MLB teams are the most aggressive during the rest of free agency.
But, there is seemingly one elite pitcher remaining, along with one All-Star shortstop.
Here are two predictions are to where the top two MLB free agents will end up.
1. Dansby Swanson To The Chicago Cubs
One team that has been aggressive so far in free agency is the Chicago Cubs.
But, they have yet to come through with any major signings.
Shortstop Dansby Swanson seems like a player that has been on the Cubs’ wishlist for a while now.
The Cubs have already signed Cody Bellinger and Jameson Taillon this offseason.
But, many reports are suggesting they are not finished.

Swanson will be 29 years old at the start of next season and he is a cornerstone player Chicago can build around.
It is also worth mentioning that Swanson’s wife is a member of the Chicago Red Stars soccer team.
His contract should also be cheaper than the ones signed by Carlos Correa, Trea Turner, and Xander Bogaerts.
This is the last chance for the Cubs to make a splash and they best not mess it up.
2. Carlos Rodon Signs With The New York Yankees
While the starting pitcher market has thinned out, there is still one elite starter remaining.
That is former San Francisco Giant, Carlos Rodon.
The left-hander finished fifth in NL Cy Young voting last season.
He is looking for a monster payday this offseason.
There is not a lot of noise about where Rodon will potentially sign.
But, one team that keeps popping up is the New York Yankees.
Other than re-signing Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo, the Yankees have not done much this offseason.

Their initial offer was not good enough for the lefty.
But, it should surprise no one as negotiations continue if Rodon ends up as in pinstripes.
