What has happened to the Miami Heat this season?
Over the previous three seasons, they had been considered championship contenders when healthy, and although they have been slightly banged up this year, there doesn’t seem to be any real explanation for their dismal 12-14 record.
Perhaps Terry Rozier of the Charlotte Hornets could jump-start the Heat, not to mention their championship hopes.
Rozier Would Be A Neat Pickup
With a 7-18 record, the Hornets have also been a disappointment, and they have been rumored to be open to moving Rozier to the right suitor.
Rozier, 28, is having one of his best seasons yet, averaging 21.7 points and 5.8 assists per game, and although his shooting percentages are low this season, he has picked them up a bit in December, and for his career, he has shot 37.2 percent from 3-point range.

The Heat, who had been a hot 3-point shooting team prior to this season, are just 22nd in 3-point accuracy so far this year.
Rozier would also inject some much-needed transition play into a team that ranks just 26th in pace.
Lowry, on the other hand, is 36 years of age and looks every bit a man who has that much wear and tear, as he’s shooting just 39.6 percent from the field this season.
It seems like he hasn’t lived up to the expectations Miami had for him when it acquired him via trade in the summer of 2021.NEXT: NBA Legend Gets Brutally Honest About The Heat
