For the Brooklyn Nets and every other team in the NBA, Media Day is a lot like the first day of a new school year.
It’s when everyone gets back together again and poses for pictures, takes questions, and starts the hard work of getting through the new NBA season.
Some of these players haven’t seen each other in months and a lot has happened during that time.
KD and Kyrie were all smiles at media day 😄

Both players were part of alleged trade demands and drama behind the scenes with the Nets.
There were also reports that the two guys didn’t want to play with one another anymore and were a bit frustrated with each other.
But they appeared as happy as could be as they got ready to have their pictures taken.
Durant and Irving were all smiles in their first media appearance since the dramatic offseason.
For fans of the Nets, this suggests that all hatchets are buried and good times are ahead.
Kyrie & Kevin Coming Together
If the Nets are going to do well in the new season, they need both Durant and Irving to be on the same page and ready to play better than ever.
Brooklyn has some talented stars but no one comes close to these two.
There is a reason why so many people were excited when both Durant and Irving were signed by the Nets: they are two of the greatest NBA players alive.
But so far they haven’t found a lot of success which shows that more work needs to be done between them.
Perhaps they are finally on the same page and can really work as a reliable unit in 2022-23.
If not, the season will again be a disappointment.
