Pirates Broadcasters Had A Perfect Giancarlo Stanton HR Call

The New York Yankees took it straight to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night, erupting for 16 runs as they won game two of the series at PNC Park, securing a split.

Unlike the Yankees, the Bucs couldn’t muster anything, picking up a total of just four hits and being shut out, as they were denied a chance to sweep the two-game series.

One of the big moments in last night’s game was Giancarlo Stanton‘s solo shot off of Josh Van Meter, yet another position player who took the mound last night.

Talkin’ Yanks tweeted a video of the highlight, but did so with the Pirates broadcasters, and their play-by-play announcer kept it simple with his call, saying, “This is ridiculous.”

“This Is Ridiculous”

This is a hilarious Stanton home run call.

It’s clear that the Pirates broadcasters had had enough of all of the shenanigans.

It’s been a season to forget for the Buccos, and last night was no different.

The Yankees took it right to the Bucs and didn’t hold back in their attack.

When it gets so bad that a team has to use a position player to pitch, you know something isn’t going your way.

And once again, it was yet another home run off of a position player who was called on for an emergency pitching performance.

Van Meter allowed all six Yankee runs in the top of the ninth.

But it’s easy to see why the announcers got tired of everything.

They had to watch their team got knocked around yet again.

Not only that, but the Pirates put up no fight in response.

So, in simple terms, it was in fact, ridiculous.
