This year it seems that the league is really promoting and hyping up the Summer League, when many rookies and G League prospects come together to play against each other for several games.
The games don’t really count for anything but they give teams, analysts, and fans a chance to see who might be making noise in the league in the months ahead.

Sure enough, the entire arena was jam-packed just like it would be for a regular season or playoff game.

The NBA has said the Summer League is a great chance to meet future superstars and that promise is bringing thousands of people in.
