Andrew McCutchen may be back with the Pittsburgh Pirates, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still hold his former teammates in high regard.
Today, the Pirates are squaring off against the defending National League champion Philadelphia Phillies in spring training.
This gave McCutchen an opportunity to visit with some of his old Phillies teammates.
McCutchen played alongside stars such as Bryce Harper, J.T. Realmuto, Zack Wheeler, and Aaron Nola during his time in Philadelphia.
On Twitter, the Phillies posted a picture of McCutchen in Pirates attire visiting some of his old Phillies teammates, as well as one of his teammates from his first stint in Pittsburgh, utilityman Josh Harrison.

Harrison signed with the Phillies late in the offseason, but he and McCutchen were teammates in Pittsburgh from 2011-17.
After the 2017 season, McCutchen was traded to the San Francisco Giants and also made a brief stop with the New York Yankees before signing in Philadelphia.
So with the Bucs and Phils squaring off this afternoon, McCutchen got an opportunity to say hello to some of his former teammates before the game got going.
But he and Harrison were especially close during their time together in Pittsburgh.
The two helped guide the Pirates to the postseason three consecutive years from 2013-15 and also played a key role in the team snapping their 20-year streak of losing seasons.
But today, they are reunited as their respective clubs take on each other in a little Monday spring training action.
We’ll see which team comes out on top today.
