It’s the first time the Phillies have been this far since 2010.
It’s also been a while for the Padres, who are in the NLCS for the first time since 1998.
On Twitter, the Phillies posted an exciting hype video to get their fans pumped up for their first NLCS in 12 years.

Phils Set For NLCS
It’s been a long time since the Phillies have gotten to the NLCS.
In 2010, they fell in six games to the eventual World Series Champion San Francisco Giants.
This time, the Phillies are the underdogs and will look to shock the world and reach their first World Series since 2009.
Then, they matched up with the defending World Series Champion Atlanta Braves.
They barely had the break a sweat the unseat the defending champs, winning the NLDS in four games.
Now, they find themselves four wins shy of reaching the World Series.
With Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola lined up for the first two games of the series, things are looking good for the Phillies as they try to gain an early advantage on the Padres.
The series opener gets underway at 8:03 p.m. Eastern Time.
We’ll see who can draw first blood in this series.
