The Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies are about to take the field in Citizens Bank Park.
The National League Division Series is tied to one victory for each side: the Phillies struck first on Tuesday, but the Braves were able to even things on Wednesday.
The Phils did well to “steal” the home-field advantage from the defending World Series champions with that Game 1 victory, though.
Now, they will be tasked with making that advantage count by finishing the series before it has to go back to Atlanta.
Playing in front of the Phillies’ energetic fan base is surely going to help them feel at home.
While it’s true that fans don’t play, a team that feels at home will have increased motivation.
The support factor won’t be scarce in Philadelphia, you can be sure about that.
Philly Fans Are Ready To Play Their Own Game
In fact, fans were showing their love and support well before the play ball voice was heard.
“Some early fans in the stands cheer on the Phillies after batting practice,” Bella DiAmore tweeted.

That was around 2 p.m. ET, almost two hours before the play ball.
If fans were starting to make their presence felt a couple of hours before the game, imagine how loud they will be once the actual game starts.
The Phillies may not be perfect, but they are playing well at the right time.
The Braves are still a top-tier team, but if the Phillies can win on Friday in front of their fans, look out.
