As the countdown to the end of the NFL regular season continues, some fans are eying what players are MVP contenders this season.
While plenty of names are in the conversation, only one player can win the award.
Pro Football Focus took the time to tweet out their latest odds on who they believe has the best chance of winning.
So who is the early favorite, and what other players are on their list?
PFF Posts A List Of Five Players In The Running For MVP
The list that PFF put out has quarterback Patrick Mahomes in front of all other competitors.

His 40.1% chance to win the MVP puts him well ahead of Tua Tagovailoa, who’s at 17.3%.
While both quarterbacks are having an amazing season, three other quarterbacks are in the running as well.
However, it’s odd to see Allen in third place on this list, as his last two games have led to losses.

Those losses were directly on him, as he committed costly turnovers which led to his team losing.
But with Mahomes and Tagovailoa at the top, they are exactly where they should be on the list.
Mahomes is showing he can dominate without Tyreek Hill, while Tagovailoa is making history with Hill in Miami.
While the list has the MVP race as a runaway, it should be closer than what is shown.
With everything Tagovailoa is doing in Miami, he should be on the heels of Mahomes in the MVP race.
