This grade ranks him as the top RB in all the NFL this season.
When seeing some of his best runs during this season, it’s clear why PFF has him ranked so high.

However, despite his greatness this season, the Raiders have a losing record in the AFC West.
So how are the Raiders missing a great opportunity with a talented running back?
Mismanagement Early Prevented Jacobs From Having A Better Season So Far
Jacobs is off to a great start this season.
His 111 rushing attempts for 633 yards has him averaging 5.7 yards per carry, a career high.
He also has six touchdowns already this season, halfway to his career high for a season.
However, all these great things are overshadowed by the horrible play calling of the Raiders.
The issues have been with the lack of rushing attempts, as the team had few carries for Jacobs.
But the good news is how the Raiders are using Jacobs more on offense.
Since their loss to the Tennessee Titans on September 25, the Raiders have given Jacobs 20+ rushing attempts during each game.
Those games have yielded him three consecutive 100+ yard games.
With more of Jacobs, the Raiders can turn their season around, as they are 2-1 with more of him on offense.
