The Dallas Cowboys, although victorious during their Monday Night Football playoff game, have a serious problem on their hands.
Their kicker, Brett Maher, missed four extra points, causing many members of NFL media to comment on the situation, including the Manning brothers.
Cowboys kicker Brett Maher misses again. That's 0-for-4 on extra point tries tonight. 😬😬😬😬

During their broadcast last night, both Peyton and Eli Manning were incredibly shocked by Maher’s four misses.
Unfortunately for Maher, he is the only kicker in NFL history to miss four extra-point attempts in the same game, and is incredibly lucky that the Cowboys were able to win the game.
Maher did make his fifth extra-point attempt, officially going 1/5 in the game.
Going into red-hot San Francisco will prove to be a more difficult test next week, and the Cowboys will need to turn around their kicking woes if they want any chances at winning that game.
Will they stay with Maher at kicker?
Before this game, Maher made 90.6% of his field goal attempts on the season, as well as 94% of his extra-point attempts.
His glowing track record proceeds him, but Maher will need to prove that the team can trust him to succeed when it matters most in the playoffs.
The Cowboys haven’t been to the Divisional round of the playoffs since 2018, and haven’t made a Super Bowl appearance since 1995.
With teams like the 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Buffalo Bills firing on all cylinders, the Cowboys need to make sure all of their positional categories are buttoned up, which includes their kicking position.
Laces out, Maher!
