The NFL conference championship games are giving fans plenty of star power to watch on Sunday.
However, some unknown players are shining under the bright lights of the NFL playoffs.
While Brock Purdy is getting his share of the spotlight, another unknown player from the AFC is getting the spotlight on him.
Peter Schrager sees Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco as the unknown player to watch on Sunday.
"Brock Purdy's story is amazing. But what if I told you there's a RB who was the 251st pick and the 17th RB taken in last year's Draft who may end up playing the biggest role in the AFC Championship Game?" @Pschrags on why @chiefs RB @isiah_pachecoRB is his man to watch Sunday. pic.twitter.com/Z9z2KksXvs

While Schrager doesn’t take away anything from Purdy, he shows every reason for Pacheco to shine in the AFC Championship game.
While the rookie running back was a seventh-round pick, he’s playing like a star this season.
His rookie season saw him with 170 carries for 830 yards and five touchdowns.
While he didn’t crack 1,000 yards, he was solid in 2022 and held an amazing 4.9 yards per carry statistic.
However, if he had more carries, the Rutgers standout might have broken some rookie records.
When he’s given the ball frequently, Pacheco does amazing things.
The AFC Divisional round saw how he can dominate a defense when given the chance.
During that game, he had 12 carries for 95 yards, giving him 7.9 yards per carry.
Because of this, Schrager feels he’s the “pop,” the Chiefs need to bypass the Cincinnati Bengals.
He sees the young running back as a player who can carry the ball on any down and get his team a first down.
While the former Rutgers star didn’t get many carries early in 2022, he’s getting the workload now.
This workload, and his rookie season story, put him in the Sunday Spotlight for Schrager and his segment.
