Watching Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans play basketball is something very special.
When Williamson gets moving, he is seemingly impossible to slow down and stop.
And when he catches air and makes a dunk, the entire rim – and court – seems to rattle from his pure power.
Dude that big not supposed to float like THAT… pic.twitter.com/VgJ3jPwP6p

One of the things so impressive about Williamson is just how easy he makes it all look.
Take Wednesday night for example: while playing against the Toronto Raptors, Williamson made his way to the basket, pushed through the defense, lifted off, and easily made his two points.
While there was a lot of force behind Williamson, he looked downright graceful as he took flight.
It’s not often that we see a player of his size move like this.
The Pelicans Playing With Power
The Pelicans impressed last season and were able to have an impact in the postseason, albeit briefly.
But everyone was awaiting the return of Williamson, who sat out all season with a serious foot injury.
Now he’s back and he has immediately reminded people of just how special he is.
He’s big, he’s strong, he can lay just about any defensive player out, and he seems to have such deft control of his body and the way that it moves.
This is what makes Williamson so unique, he is big but he still maneuvers around the court like a man half his size.
The Pelicans are currently the third team in the West with a 13-8 record and it feels like this might finally be the season they have serious postseason success.
Witnessing Williamson play is like witnessing a force of nature.
