The New England Patriots created an NFL dynasty, something that has yet to be repeated.
When thinking about their historic run, many NFL fans are quick to only chalk up their victories to Tom Brady.
While Brady was a massive part of each of the Patriots’ Super Bowl victories, there were several other key contributors.
One of those contributors was Devin McCourty, a 13-year member of the organization.
McCourty recently announced his retirement from the NFL in a touching sentiment to the Patriots.

After he announced his retirement, McCourty posted on a local New England billboard, thanking the city and organization for their support throughout the years.
During his time with the Patriots, McCourty was one of the most dominant safeties in the league.
He is a three-time Super Bowl champion, a three-time All-Pro, and was selected to the Pro Bowl two times as well.
McCourty has used his platform for philanthropic work and has made an impact off of the playing field.
During the 2013 season, McCourty donated $100 for every tackle, and $200 for every interception he had, which went to the Boston Marathon bombing relief efforts.
McCourty’s career will not soon be forgotten, both within the Patriots’ organization and the NFL as a whole as well.
While Devin McCourty was impactful to the Patriots, he was able to play with his brother Jason, winning a Super Bowl together in 2018.
It is rare for brothers to make it into the NFL together, and even rarer for them to play on the same team.
