Once again, the Kansas City Chiefs proved to be the best team in the football business.
They entered Super Bowl LVII as one-point underdogs, even though they had the very same record as the Philadelphia Eagles.
Of course, the Eagles had the edge in terms of health, Offensive and Defensive Line, but the Chiefs had something even more important: Patrick Mahomes.
The Texas Tech product took it upon himself to silence the naysayers throughout the whole season.
They said he wasn’t going to thrive without Tyreek Hill, and he responded by winning MVP.
Then, they said he wasn’t going to get anything going vs. the Eagles’ stout defense, yet he torched him for three scores en route to a Super Bowl MVP trophy.
Needless to say, Mahomes earned his bragging rights over… well, pretty much everybody in the league, which is why he took a soon-to-be legendary picture, holding the Vince Lombardi trophy and a WWE-style belt with the Chiefs logo.

Pat and the Chiefs couldn’t reach the ultimate stage last season, losing in overtime in the AFC Championship Game to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Notably, they weren’t able to get back at Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after getting blown out a couple of years ago.
Even so, they proved again that they’re the team to beat in the NFL until proven otherwise.
Not the Eagles, not the Rams, not the Bills: The Chiefs.
So, maybe next time, people will know better than to doubt the best quarterback in the business.
