With the help of Nagy, it attracted Andy Reid to him.
However, it was some gamesmanship by Mahomes that got him in Kansas City.
Him telling the Chiefs if they let him go below the 12th pick another team will pick him is what got him in Kansas City.
The revelation of this means he essentially drafted himself to the team.
While no other quarterback can make this claim, Mahomes is proud to talk about how his stock was rising during 2017.
However, with him telling everyone how Nagy gave him the plays beforehand to study, it shows how the young quarterback seized a golden opportunity.

With this new insight into the 2017 draft, Chiefs fans are now thankful for Nagy.
So while fans of the Bears are still mad over Nagy, Mahomes has made a hero out of him.
