Just like that, Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season is over.
Still, there are 16 games left for each team, giving them plenty of time to control their destiny.
But of all the players who took the field on opening week, some of them stood above the rest.
Their pre-game routine must have worked to make them Players of the Week.

Pro Football Focus writer Ari Meirov shared the players that made it to the impressive list.
Leading the way is quarterback Patrick Mahomes who led the Kansas City Chiefs to victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
He had 30 completions for 360 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions in the Chiefs’ 44-21 win.
He threw touchdown passes to four receivers, including two to Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
Mahomes also had five rushing yards on three carries.
Meanwhile, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick is the AFC’s Defensive Player of the Week.
He proved worthy of the four-year, $73.6 million deal he received this offseason by finishing with ten tackles and an interception in their win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Rookie Cade York is the AFC’s Special Teams Player of the Week after converting all four field goal attempts, including the game-winner, in Cleveland’s 26-24 win versus the Carolina Panthers.
NFC’s Best Players For Week 1 Of 2022
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley is the NFC’s best player on offense after a 164-yard, one-touchdown performance in their 21-20 win over the Tennessee Titans.
On the other hand, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Uchenna Nwosu earned the distinction on defense with three tackles and a sack in their Monday Night Football triumph against the Denver Broncos.
Finally, Zech McPhearson of the Philadelphia Eagles is the NFC’s Special Teams Player of the Week.
He earned the distinction after retrieving an onside kick from the Detroit Lions in the third quarter.
