On Sunday, Patrick Mahomes will be appearing in his third Super Bowl in the last five seasons.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles do not tend to play each other very often, as this will be just their third matchup in the last ten years.
The Chiefs have won their last three matchups against the Eagles, including an impressive victory during the 2021 NFL season.

In their last matchup, Mahomes threw for 278 yards, five touchdowns, and had a passer rating of 131.
He delivered a masterful performance en route to the Chiefs’ victory.
Despite his success in their last matchup, Mahomes wasn’t the only superstar quarterback in this game.
Jalen Hurts also played well, throwing for 387 yards, two touchdowns, and a passer rating of 105.1.
This was one of Hurts’ best games of the season but ended up coming up short due to the brilliance of the Chiefs.
Many are pointing to their 2021 matchup as an indication that the Super Bowl will be a high-scoring affair.
Hurts and Mahomes are both in the MVP race this season and have been regarded as two of the NFL’s best young quarterbacks.
Will Mahomes and Hurts deliver two unforgettable performances on Sunday?
The Eagles haven’t needed to throw the ball much in their last two playoff games, whereas the Chiefs continue to dominate through the air.
The Chiefs will need to put their best defensive foot forward this weekend if they want any chance to stop the Eagles’ running attack, forcing them to throw the ball.
