Tom Brady has officially retired from the NFL.
During his 23-year career, Brady broke numerous quarterback records and is often dubbed the greatest quarterback of all time.
After this announcement, a current NFL superstar took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the matter.

Patrick Mahomes, at least in the eyes of many NFL media members, is the next-best quarterback in the league.
Now that Brady is gone, he is the next man up.
Can Mahomes come close to Brady’s greatness?
Let’s take a look at Mahomes’ career thus far.
Through 80 regular season games, Mahomes has thrown for 24,241 yards, 192 touchdowns, 49 interceptions, and has a career passer rating of 105.7.
In 13 career playoff games, Mahomes has thrown for 3,902 yards, 32 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, with a passer rating of 105.7.
When you look that these numbers compared to what Brady was at through this point in his career, Mahomes is blowing him out of the water.
In his first 80 games, Brady threw for 18,035 yards, 123 touchdowns, 66 interceptions, and a passer rating of just 88.5.
Mahomes is on pace to break Brady’s records, but he will need to have sustained success to do so.
Brady played in 330 career games.
While Mahomes’ career has been nothing short of spectacular, Brady’s long-term success is a big reason that he holds so many records.
If Mahomes keeps it up at this pace, he could break Brady’s career yards record of 89,214 by the year 2035.
Will Mahomes be able to play until he is at least 39?
That’s how old he will be in 2035.
