Patrick Beverley of the Minnesota Timberwolves has never been afraid to speak his mind and say what he believes, even when no one else believes it too.
Say what you want about him but this has led to a lot of NBA success on the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, and now the Timberwolves.
Beverley’s brash, eccentric personality was on display again Tuesday night as the T-Wolves took down the Clippers in the play-in game.
Pat Bev just walked by the media room as Ty Lue was exiting and said "see y'all in the Western Conference finals."

Following the big win, Beverley spotted Clippers head coach Ty Lue in the media room, leaned in and said, “See y’all in the Western Conference Finals.”
Those are big words from Beverley.
Is there any chance he can make them a reality?
WCF Bound?
The chance of both the Clippers and Timberwolves making the Western Conference Finals are beyond slim, especially with the competition out there.
Unless something wild happens, it’s very likely that the Phoenix Suns will make it to the WCF.
It remains to be seen who they will go against but the Wolves will have to take down a few other imposing teams, such as the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors, to meet the Suns.
Stranger things have happened – there is a chance that the ultimate match-up will be the Timberwolves and Clippers – but it’s just not a strong possibility.
If it did happen, it would be poetic justice because Beverley was traded from the Clippers to the Timberwolves and many people believed the team didn’t have any chance at making the playoffs.
Beverley and his team have proven so many people wrong.
Will they prove them all wrong again?
