It was announced on Monday that Patrick Beverley had found a new home in the NBA: the Chicago Bulls.
The move to the Bulls came after the Los Angeles Lakers traded Beverley before the NBA deadline.
After that trade, Beverley was then let go by the Orlando Magic and was on the market, looking for a team to call his own.
His departure to the Bulls is a very special one for Beverley, as he was born and raised in Chicago.

According to him, he actually had a couple of choices before choosing the Bulls.
Speaking on his Pat Bev Pod, Beverley said that it came down to the Bulls and the Golden State Warriors.
“It was between Golden State and the Bulls,” Beverley stated.
He then mentioned that he was drawn to the Bulls because the Eastern Conference is weak and he felt that he could have an impact on getting the Bulls into the playoffs.
It’ll be interesting to see what Beverley does for the struggling Bulls, who are currently the 11th team in the East with a weak 26-33 record.
They are having a very tough time finding their footing, avoiding injuries, and maintaining leads in games they should win.
Will Beverley help with that?
That’s not entirely clear because he is in the midst of one of the worst seasons of his career, with an average of 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
But one thing is clear: he will certainly fire up the locker room and give some incredible pep talks to the disheartened and troubled team.
