Not many NFL punters manage to become widely recognized around the sports industry, let alone have one of the most popular talk shows in the game.
The Pat McAfee Show has become a must-watch for beat writers, fans, and even players alike, especially with Aaron Rodgers’ constant appearances and rants.
That’s why it wasn’t much of a surprise to know that FanDuel paid him $120 million over four years to be the exclusive partner of the show.
However, now the New York Post reports that he could walk away from that deal after just two seasons of partnership.

The former Pro Bowl punter has rapidly become a respected media personality, boasting a larger-than-life personality and making the most of his inside connections in the league.
With that in mind, he’ll continue to play by his own rules, and he hasn’t shied away from letting it be known that he’s ready to pursue a bigger deal and partnership for his show.
He was targeted by Amazon last offseason, and rumor has it that Google/YouTube could also make a run at him for their upcoming NFL Sunday Ticket broadcast.
It is definitely “Up to Something” season, which is the on-air phrase McAfee uses when he is talking about new deals.
McAfee has already gotten a taste of the big money that comes from this industry, starring in a ManningCast style broadcast for college football games last season.
So, even if walking away from that much money seems crazy, you better believe he’s got a big ace up his sleeve.
