Like all NBA rookies, Paolo Banchero of the Orlando Magic has had some good and bad moments during his first season.
That means there have been certain games when Banchero has only scored 9 points and then some when he has produced 30.
During his best moments, Banchero has shown Magic fans why he was the number one overall pick in the last draft.

He was at it again on Monday night.
Banchero scored 29 points in a huge win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
Along with those 29, he also had 8 rebounds, and 4 assists too.
For the evening, he had a 55.6% field goal percentage.
He was dominant against some of the best stars for the Pelicans, such as Brandon Ingram and Herbert Jones.
Banchero was playing with serious drive and skill and was looking like someone who has been in the league for years and knows his way around the court like a true expert.
Monday night’s game came at the right time as Banchero was coming off a tough month.
He was recently averaging just 15.4 points per game and shooting at only 35% from the floor.
For every wonderful game Banchero has had, he has also experienced moments that showed he is still a rookie.
It takes time to learn how to play in the NBA among professionals.
There is no doubt that Banchero is still figuring things out but he is proving that he really could be the future of the Magic.
He’s not the only one: there are multiple youthful players on Orlando’s payroll who could explode into greatness over the next few years.
However, Banchero might be the greatest.
