These are exciting times to be a San Diego Padres fan.
They welcomed several new players before the trade deadline, most notably former World Series-winning outfielder Juan Soto.
He is the one who will have fans at the edge of their seats most of the time with his incredible talent to play baseball.
Even in a “down” year, the 23-year-old has a .893 OPS, thanks to his incredible ability to get on base (.408 OBP) and his power (21 home runs).
When a .893 OPS is considered slightly disappointing, you know that player has set the bar too high.
Soto is expected to make his debut with his new team tonight.
Here, you can see his new threads.

Soto’s Uniform Is Ready
You are now seeing what will be one of the most frequently sold jerseys in the San Diego area, together with Fernando Tatis Jr.‘s and Manny Machado‘s.
The star slugger was able to get number 22 from Nick Martinez after a bit of a negotiation with the pitcher, and he will rock it just like he rocked it with the Nationals.
The Padres bet most of their future on Soto, Josh Hader, Brandon Drury, and Josh Bell.
They said goodbye to quality prospects such as Robert Hassell III, MacKenzie Gore, C.J. Abrams, Jarlin Susana, and James Wood, among others.
However, now they look poised to make the playoffs, and who knows what else destiny has in store for them.
They were finally able to add to their offense, and the Machado-Soto-Tatis heart of the order looks like one of the best in the league.
As long as everybody is healthy in San Diego, they could be World Series candidates.
