There are many ways to capture the greatness of baseball.
It can be through a painting, a video, a picture, or even a set of baseball cards.
The greatness can be felt by actually watching or attending a game as well.
A local artist in San Diego has been painting murals to depict each postseason matchup the San Diego Padres find themselves in.
Tonight, the Padres are scheduled to take on the red-hot Philadelphia Phillies in Game 1 of the NLCS.
Today, the local San Diego artist painted yet another mural, this time featuring the San Diego Chicken in a fight with the Phillie Phanatic, and winning.

The Perfect Mural Doesn’t Exist…
That’s one way to make a prediction.
The City of San Diego is buzzing right now thanks to their beloved Padres eliminating the Los Angeles Dodgers and reaching the NLCS for the first time since 1998.
And so, this artist took matters into his own hands and painted the perfect mural to depict what could happen in the NLCS, showing the chicken kicking the Phanatic to the ground.
That’s some fine artwork right there, and it’s hard not to appreciate it unless you’re a Phillies fan, in which case it’s probably infuriating.
But regardless of the team you cheer for, you have to admire the effort put in by this artist, who is clearly excited for the NLCS and the opportunity to watch the Padres take down the Phils and reach their first World Series in 24 years.
The artist who put this together definitely enjoyed doing it.
Now, everybody around San Diego is hoping that this mural is a direct depiction of what could take place this NLCS.
