As the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres played the second game of their NL Division Series on Wednesday night, something hilarious happened.
A goose suddenly got to the field, between second base and right field.
How did a goose appear on a baseball stadium, we have no idea, but it happened and we have pictures and videos as evidence.
Apparently, it brought the Padres some luck: despite the Dodgers putting several men on base in the late innings, San Diego was able to hold on to a 5-3 victory against the best team in baseball.
In fact, those who go to Twitter or Google to find pictures of the goose will always see something that a fan pointed out.
“The best part of the goose on the field is the #Padres will forever have the lead over the Dodgers in these screenshots for all eternity,” Matt Skraby tweeted.

San Diego Would Love To Get Past The Dodgers In The Postseason
Advantage: Padres!
San Diego has had a rough time getting past the Dodgers in recent years.
This year, for example, LA won 14 of the 19 games of the head-to-head matchup.
Last year, the Dodgers won the series, 12-7.
And, in 2020, the Dodgers knocked out the Padres 3-0 in the Division Series.
San Diego has been trying to consolidate a project for years through the acquisition of players via trade, but the Dodgers are already consolidated thanks to their endless resources, savvy moves and, above all, their player development staff.
With the series tied at 1-1, it is now a best-of-three series, with two of them being played in San Diego.
Are the Padres ready to finally leave the Dodgers behind?
