The San Diego Padres have found a little something to rally around this postseason.
It’s been just over a week since the famed “rally goose” took center stage on the field at Dodger Stadium in Game 2 of the NLDS.
The goose was removed from the field, but instantly became a martyr for Padres fans, as the team held on to defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers and went on to win the series.
Fast forward to the NLCS, and the goose is still all the rage in San Diego.
Yesterday, a Phillies analyst said that she saw a couple of Petco Park employees putting a goose in a carrier on her way into the ballpark.
Padres insider Marty Caswell provided a hilarious update on the situation, saying that Josh Bell had talked about the possibility of the team bringing a ceramic goose to Philadelphia for the next three games.
Josh Bell said the Padres may bring a ceramic goose to Philly, haven't seen an update yet on the live goose. https://t.co/yuOL4SHynu

The Legend Of The Goose
It appears that the goose phenomenon has only continued to grow since last week.
There is no update yet on the goose that was spotted yesterday, but once again, the Padres and their fans seem to be rallying around it.
And why wouldn’t they?
The funniest part though is that the team is actually considering bringing a ceramic goose to Philadelphia.
What they’ll do with that ceramic goose if they have it is anybody’s guess, but one thing is clear.
The ceramic goose, if brought to Philadelphia, will be all the rage in the clubhouse, and the players will find a way to rally around it.
And whatever they end up doing with it will make for a hilarious story.
Hopefully, the Padres bring that ceramic goose with them.
