Head coach Matt LaFleur did something for the first time in four seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
He lost consecutive games against the New York Giants in Week 5 and the New York Jets in Week 6.
Apparently, these results are already irking Packers fans.
That’s why Packers writer Bruce Irons had to put things into perspective by dishing out some facts about LaFleur’s tenure in Green Bay.
Matt LaFleur won more games than any head coach ever in 3 years.
He re-ignited a declining Aaron Rodgers. He won the division every year. He went to 2 NFCCs and a divisional playoff.
Now he lost back to back games for the first time and #Packers fans think he's garbage?

Irons tweeted, “Matt LaFleur won more games than any head coach ever in 3 years. He re-ignited a declining Aaron Rodgers. He won the division every year. He went to 2 NFCCs and a divisional playoff. Now he lost back-to-back games for the first time, and #Packers fans think he’s garbage? Please.”
LaFleur Is A Blessing For Green Bay
LaFleur led the Packers to three straight NFC North titles in as many years.
He led Green Bay to 13 wins in each of those seasons.
The Packers also went to two NFC Championships under his guidance.
It seems like the team’s fans are having a dose of amnesia.
While the team lost two in a row, they are still in good hands and can make a playoff push.
However, they haven’t defeated a team with a winning record this season, and Rodgers is yet to have a 300-yard game.
The Packers will also need a dominating force in the passing game like Davante Adams.
While Rodgers has distributed the ball to his receivers, none of them even have 300 receiving yards for the season.
Sammy Watkins, the guy they brought in to compensate for Adams’ departure, played only two games and has 111 receiving yards.
Green Bay can return to a winning record by defeating the Washington Commanders in Week 7.
However, the Buffalo Bills are waiting for them in Week 8.
