It remains to be seen whether the Green Bay Packers will dearly miss the services of All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams.
After all, he was their primary receiver over the past four seasons and had over 1,000 receiving yards in three of them.
Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders and signed a five-year, $141.25 million deal.
Aside from him, Marquez Valdes-Scantling also left Green Bay to join the Kansas City Chiefs.
While their departures could be a cause for concern, Packers insider Andy Herman sees no issue.
Packers return 39/39 of their passing touchdowns from 2021, 14/14 rushing touchdowns, 25/39 of their receiving touchdowns, and 2/2 of their defensive touchdowns. In total, they return 39/53 of their touchdown scorers from a season ago. Adams/MVS accounted for the missing 14.

Herman tweeted, “Packers return 39/39 of their passing touchdowns from 2021, 14/14 rushing touchdowns, 25/39 of their receiving touchdowns, and 2/2 of their defensive touchdowns. In total, they return 39/53 of their touchdown scorers from a season ago. Adams/MVS accounted for the missing 14.”
Adams had 11 touchdowns for Green Bay last season while Valdes-Scantling had three.
However, they still have their talented backfield of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.
Meanwhile, they signed Sammy Watkins to a one-year deal and selected Christian Watson in the second round of the 2022 draft.
They will line up alongside Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb for a formidable receiving corps.
Their offensive line should also improve with Jon Runyan, Elgton Jenkins, and the returning David Bakhtiari.
Rodgers Gives Them The Best Chance Of Winning
Rodgers should be able to keep the Packers’ offense going even without Adams, Valdes-Scantling, and former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, who became the Denver Broncos’ head coach.
His accuracy is second to none, making it easy to find his teammates downfield.
If everything goes well, Lazard might even make Packers fans forget about Adams.
Rodgers will put them in the best position to win and they will clinch another postseason berth.
With a revamped receiving corps, it’s time for him to prove that he is worthy of being the league’s highest-paid player.
