The struggles continue for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Currently, the team is in 13th place in the West with a 7-12 record.
They have been better than usual lately and won five of their last seven.
But they are still painfully inconsistent at times, as evidenced by their complete meltdown in the second half of their match against the Indiana Pacers.
Most 4Q FGA by a Laker this season:
76 — LeBron (45 FG%)
60 — Lonnie Walker (45 FG%)
47 — Westbrook (36 FG%)
46 — Anthony Davis (65 FG%)AD is shooting 50% in the clutch, but 3rd in attempts. No other Laker is shooting better than 38%. pic.twitter.com/ldOHMZNr0c

The Lakers have always had a hard time crossing the finish line and many of their biggest stars are hit-or-miss during the fourth quarter of the game.
When looking at all the fourth-quarter field goal attempts by the Lakers this season, one player is clearly above the rest.
LeBron James has attempted 76 fourth-quarter points, nailing 45% of them.
Meanwhile, Lonnie Walker sank 45% of his 60 fourth-quarter attempts while Russell Westbrook has nailed just 36% of his 47.
But Anthony Davis has a 65% field goal percentage in the fourth, which is much better than anyone else on the team.
Davis is also shooting 50% in the clutch, showing that he is stepping up to the challenge of leading this dysfunctional team.
Davis’ Big Season
His fourth-quarter output isn’t the only thing that Davis is doing well this season.
He is averaging 26.2 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists a game.
The man is playing with a renewed sense of drive and determination and athleticism
After several seasons of fans begging Davis to resemble his old self, he has answered the call.
Still, the Lakers aren’t doing well even with Davis’ big comeback season.
The squad needs more than Davis’ resurgence, impressive as it is.
In the days ahead, Davis will continue to play hard for all 48 minutes but he requires more help from every member of his team to claim victory.
