The Las Vegas Raiders have an explosive quarterback-wide receiver tandem that could finally give them a postseason victory after two decades.
The team did make the playoffs last season but lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card round.
Still, it’s a milestone for Derek Carr who did not play during the 2016 playoffs due to injury.
But teaming up with All-Pro wideout Davante Adams should give the Raiders a much-needed boost.
This duo could lead the Raiders to a deep playoff run because they are both coming off fantastic seasons.
Carr had 4,803 yards and 23 touchdowns while Adams had 1,553 yards and 11 touchdowns.
More importantly, they already have a rapport with each other because they have been teammates at Fresno State from 2011 to 2013.
Here’s a glimpse of what they can do together.

NFL Rookie Watch tweeted, “Derek Carr and Davante Adams were a dynamic duo at Fresno State. Can’t wait to see what they are able to accomplish together in the NFL.”
Carr threw a 59-yard touchdown with little room for error because of the defenders near Adams.
Meanwhile, Adams calmly caught the ball and continued his stride to the end zone.
The Raiders Should Have A High-Powered Offense
It’s possible for Carr to have a 5,000-yard season with Adams as his primary target.
Aside from him, they also have Hunter Renfrow, who had a breakout season last year.
With Adams up top and Renfrow dominating from the slot, the Raiders should find it easier to move the ball forward.
If both receivers are well-covered, they still have Darren Waller as a potent threat.
Head coach Josh McDaniels will be able to create several packages to maximize the talent they have on offense.
Therefore, a second consecutive postseason appearance should be imminent.
