Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. can finally call himself an NFL champion after helping the Los Angeles Rams win Super Bowl LVI over the Cincinnati Bengals.
He did have an impact on that game with two receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown.
The former LSU standout could have been the game’s Most Valuable Player if he had kept playing in the second half.
Unfortunately, he suffered what turned out to be an ACL injury 18 months after he tore the same knee when he was still with the Cleveland Browns.
That injury could sideline him for the entire 2022 season, given the typical recovery period for that injury.
But while he couldn’t participate in practices and games, he still went to the Rams’ season-opener against the Buffalo Bills.

Complex Sports re-shared a photo originally posted by Lindsey Thiry with the caption, “Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is down on the field for tonight’s game wearing Rams colors and his Super Bowl ring.”
He was there to attend the team’s unveiling of their championship banner before their game against Buffalo.
It’s telling that he is wearing the Rams’ colors even if he is a free agent.
Could this indicate that he will return to Los Angeles once he is cleared to play?
The Feeling Is Mutual Between The Two Parties
Beckham has expressed his intention to be with the Rams for a long time.
Meanwhile, the Rams are enticing him to re-sign by leaving his locker and his nameplate intact.
That’s a nice gesture from the squad that signed him after no one claimed him off the waiver wire.
While other teams have a chance to sign the All-Pro wideout, it seems like the Rams will still be his top choice.
