All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will have to defer his NFL career for now.
He has no choice after suffering an ACL injury while playing for the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI.
While the recovery period could take longer than expected, Beckham will welcome the rest because he is already a Super Bowl champion.
If not for his injury, he could have been a prime candidate for Super Bowl MVP too.
For now, he is a free agent as he gets back in game shape.
But his situation gives him more time to spend with his son, Zydn.
Here’s a light moment between Beckham and the baby.

Beckham is giving his son a toy football and said, “you drop a ball, you run a mile.”
He is already instilling some discipline on Zydn, hoping that he will follow his footsteps.
It will take time before Beckham’s dream for his son will materialize.
But if the baby inherits his father’s talent, he will be a top talent when he’s eligible for the NFL Draft.
Let’s just hope that Beckham won’t be too hard on his son once he starts to take up the sport.
But then again, running for a mile trains him to become a better wide receiver.
Beckham’s Timetable For His Return
ACL injuries aren’t easy to deal with and the recovery period could take up to 12 months.
Therefore, Beckham’s return to the field remains uncertain.
But while he is raring to play, he must be enjoying the rest in some ways.
After all, he came from a messy situation with the Cleveland Browns.
Likewise, he has nothing left to prove after winning the game’s biggest prize with the Rams.
