Wide receiver Jarvis Landry will have a new NFL home soon after the Cleveland Browns released him after trading for Amari Cooper.
He will get much interest once the 2022 free agency starts this afternoon.
For those who have apprehensions regarding Landry, Odell Beckham Jr. made a rousing endorsement for his former teammate.
My free angency pitch to all 31!!!!! Grab @God_Son80 …. I promise u won’t be disappointed in his football abilities but u DEFINITELY won’t be disappointed about the Man U will have in that locker roommm frfr

Beckham tweeted, “My free agency pitch to all 31!!!!! Grab @God_Son80 …. I promise u won’t be disappointed in his football abilities but u DEFINITELY won’t be disappointed about the Man U will have in that locker roommm frfr.”
There’s no other player who knows Landry better than Beckham, whom he played with in Cleveland from 2019 to 2021.
If there’s a vacancy at wide receiver with the Los Angeles Rams, Beckham would have likely made a strong push for Landry.
However, the defending Super Bowl champions are stacked in that position with him, Van Jefferson, Robert Woods, and reigning Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp.
Therefore, he’s helping a good teammate by making a short but strong pitch.
But while Landry is free to go, he might not have much leverage to negotiate given his performance last season.
A knee sprain led to his worst campaign in eight seasons, finishing with a career-low of 570 yards and two touchdowns.
Possible Destinations For Landry
Landry is still a big boost for any team, especially if he’s 100 percent healthy.
In that case, it’s highly possible that he will stay in the AFC because he might get some interest from the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.
The Tennessee Titans might also be in the running, as well as the New York Jets.
While the Jets have the capacity to offer the most money, the other three teams give him a legitimate chance to chase a Super Bowl win.
