There has always been a lot of talk about LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and the way he plays basketball.
He is best known for his ability to shoot well, lead a team, and push through the defense to create some monster jams that will live on in NBA history forever.
But there is another skill that James has that doesn’t get talked about enough.

James is one of the most elite passers in the league and creates a massive amount of assists.
In fact, James has delivered more three-point assists than Stephen Curry‘s made three-point shots.
James has assisted on 3,449 threes while Curry has sunk 3,137 threes.
That’s a remarkable factoid that many people don’t know.
As James gets older, you can expect to see this number grow and grow.
Assists From The King
The fact that James has so many assists throughout his career shows just how much he knows the game and how well he can read every play and the guys on his team.
A true leader is one who helps others achieve and succeed.
Some people say that James is a greedy player and is more focused on his own successes rather than his team’s.
But these numbers prove that isn’t true, he is always looking for ways to propel his team forward, via his own shots or someone else’s.
Assists will probably become a bigger part of his game in the years ahead, as James will need to preserve more energy and strength and won’t be able to be as physical as he’s always been.
Now, that means the Lakers will need to get better at shooting.
Right now, the team has one of the worst field goal percentages in the NBA, which means those three-point assists from James are falling short.
