There were many great rookies in the league last season but few as fun and lovable as Bones Hyland of the Denver Nuggets.
The young guard didn’t start in many games and he didn’t play for too many minutes but he certainly showed his skill in the time given.
During this first season, Hyland averaged 10.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
Bones Hyland, asked how his joy and energy can positively affect the Nuggets:
"My energy is so contagious. If I'm smiling nad having fun, I feel like my teammates are doing the same thing." pic.twitter.com/gSjpo5xdMs

Beyond his point total, Hyland is known for his wonderful personality, charisma, and attitude.
He spoke about this during the team’s media day and touched upon how he helps his crew:
“My energy is so contagious. If I’m smiling and having fun, I feel like my teammates are doing the same thing,” Hyland said.
What should we expect from Hyland in the season ahead?
No Bones About It
It remains to be seen how much time on the court Hyland will get in the 2022-23 season.
With Jamal Murray returning to the team, he might get even less time on the floor.
However, he might provide some relief for Murray and other players so we might be getting more of Hyland.
That is hopefully the case because he really is a fun, energetic player who shows a lot of promise along with his personality.
Plus, his skills will definitely help the Nuggets.
He shoots 40.3% from the field and 36.6% from the three-point line.
The Nuggets could definitely use that sort of help, especially from a bench player who can be called upon when the time is right.
It seems clear that Hyland is going to be focusing on making his game even better and inspiring his teammates.
He knows that he can do more than simply make shots, his energy can fire up the rest of the team.
