The Denver Nuggets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night, beating their Western Conference rivals 122-113.
Surprising no one, the Nuggets were powered by the incredible skill of Nikola Jokic.
Jokic was once again a complete force of nature on the court, scoring 36 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.
When you crack into his numbers more, you see that he was even more impressive.

Jokic scored, assisted on, or created via screen 79 points in 34 minutes on Tuesday.
On top of that, the two-time MVP shot 12-of-12 inside the arc and was 9-of-10 at the free-throw line too.
Jokic has been incredible all season long and Tuesday night was no different.
This is further proof that Jokic is not only the best player on his team but maybe the best player in the West and possibly the best player in the league.
He has won MVP for the last two consecutive years and most people assume that he won’t repeat that feat again because so few players have taken home that prize three years in a row.
However, it is getting harder and harder to deny the fact that Jokic is wholly worthy of winning yet again.
That doesn’t mean he will but he shouldn’t be counted out.
As for the Nuggets, they have now won seven games in a row and are the top team in the West with a 31-13 record.
They have been consistently great all season and they are pulling away from other teams like the Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, and others.
Will this be the year they finally make the NBA Finals?
With the astonishing output of Jokic and others on the squad, that is more likely than ever.
